Mason Dave Moyle, age 42, has been a bricklayer for 24 years.
Dave was the third place winner overall of the 2011 SPEC MIX
BRICKLAYER 500 National and in addition won the coveted title of the SPEC MIX TOP CRAFTSMAN. This achivement is only the
second time this has happened at the National level.

This was be Dave’s 4th appearance at the National Event. Dave has been the mason to beat four years running in the Iowa Regionals. He got his start working with his dad at their family run business. In 2010 Dave practiced a lot and he laid 625 brick with no deductions at the 2011 National. That was very close to what he predicted before the event. Dave would like to thank his family back home, his sponsor Moyle Masonry and his beautiful wife Roberta for being there by his side each and every day.

Dave won a combined total of $8,000 in cash, EZ Grout MH-12 “Little Piggy” Mixer, STIHL TS A-EWC (Electric Water Control) Machine & 1, B20, 14” Diamond Wheels & carrying case, STIHL Winner’s Package, 2 ten packs of GATORBACK Mortarboards, Johnson Level - Craftmanship Level and 3rd Place Level, Bosch 18 Volt Cordless Circular Saw, Bosch “Bulldog” Rotary Hammer, SPEC MIX TOP CRAFTSMAN Trophy, Two Marshalltown pre-loaded SMBL 500 Tool Bags, and the TOP CRAFTSMAN and 3rd Place trophies.
